About Mim Houghton
Mim Houghton is a London-based Set and Costume Designer working across Theatre and Opera.
Mim was the 2025/26 recipient of the Max Rayne Design Bursary at the National Theatre. In 2026, The Stage named her a designer to watch, describing sets that “cleverly blend the literal and metaphorical”.
Alongside her own design work, she is the Associate Set Designer on Der Ring des Nibelungen at Grange Park Opera (Director/Set Designer: Charles Edwards), which began with Das Rheingold in June 2026 and runs to 2030.
